Dream kitchen

Somedy, I want to have this thing that is called counter space. And alot of it. I am getting ready to make strawberry jam, and I feel like I have to rearrange my whole kitchen to get ready. Someday I will have my dream kitchen, like one of these!

So I am either going to win the HGTV dreamhouse, or wait until my husband is retired and we build our own dreamhouse. Which ever comes first.

A few weekends ago, we took our trip to Disneyland. The kids had a blast! And so did we! We went on a bunch of rides, and saw a few shows. Jonathan was very reluctant to get on any rides, but after a few, he wasn't as scared any more. They loved the playhouse Disney live show. I think it may have been one of their favorites.

We saw a ton of characters and Jonothan wanted nothing to do with them. Jacob wanted to say hi, but by the time it was our turn. He was too shy! So I met a lot of characters!

We stood in line for a while to go in Mickey's house, but by the time we got inside, Jonathan was too shy!

I love this last picture. This is when we first got there and were waiting in line. The boys were so excited. They couldn't sit still. Jonathan was looking at the map to see where we were going to go first, and running around.

We had a great time. I am so happy we were able to take the kids while we lived so close. They had a great time and have been talking about it ever since. Now I can't wait to take them to Disney World.(In my opinion it is the better of the two!)

Why did he rub a tomato on his bottom?

I am soooo excited. I was planning to start full-on potty training on Monday, so I had the pottys upstairs. Jacob woke up from his nap, and went to the bathroom on the potty! I was downstairs, totally didn't even know what he was doing until Jonathan told me. Needless to say I was pretty excited! So, later this afternoon I was watering my garden and the boys followed me outside. I have to share this because for some reason it cracked me up! Jacob picks all of my underripe tomatoes (I wasn't too happy about that). Comes in and gets a fork, then sits, naked at his picnic table and eats them. I was cracking up! So then, for some reason Jacob rubs the tomatoe on his bottom (I know, tmi) and his whole bottome brreaks out in this red, rash. So apparently he is allergic to tomatoes. I'm not sure why he rubbed the tomatoe on his bum. I couldn't even get mad about the tomatoes, although I am sad he took ALL of them off the plant. So, potty trianing begins. Wish me luck!

Ok, I know Easter was like 3 years ago, but I thought I would post some pictures before I post about Disneyland. Jonathan, Jacob and I went to Texas and had a blast. We had a big Easter dinner at my sister Stacey's house, and a n easter egg hunt for the kiddos. Here are some photos!

Jacob on an old bike in the Shoe factory.

HEre are the boys enjoying popcorn at the San Antonio Shoe factory!

We were trying to get a picture with all the kids looking and smiling at the same time, and this is the best we got.
On the way home we stopped at Ikea and Jonathan found his ranom hat in th clearance section.

It was a really fun trip, and we are so excited to go for anothervisit in June, only this time with Daddy!!

When we came back, Jonathan had a field trip to the NASA buildings out here and it was really neat. Here is a picture of Jonathan in a tire that has actually been to space and back!

First, I slept in! That would've have been enough to make my day. Joe made me blueberry pancakes for breakfast, and cleaned up and everything! At church, Joe got several of the guys to come in and take over primary so we could al go to Rlief Society, which was so nice! I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous, but they did great! After church Joe fed the kids, put them down for a nap, and made dinner! We had a great relaxing Sunday! Happy Mother's day!

Well, today we celebrated our anniversary. We had some friends watch the boys and we went out to Olive Garden and saw the Star Trek movie. No, I wouldn't have picked that movie, but you know, it wasnt too bad. I was actually pretty into it, once my hubby explained a few things to me! Anywho, Yesterday we took family pictures. A friend of ours took them and put a few of them on her blog. You can check them out at
They turned out sooooo great! I can't wait to see all of them!

Happy Anniversary!

Joe and I got married five years ago today in Houston, TX!! We are going to celebrate tomorrow, because today we are taking family pictures, so I will post those soon. I did get an early mother's day/anniversary present. A new treadmill!! I am so excited about it. I have used it everyday since, except for Sunday! Sometimes I can't believe it has already been five years, and sometimes I don't even remember life before I met Joe. I love him so much. He is my bestest friend in the world. He definitely keeps life exciting! I thought I would write about how we met, from my point of view! I was living with 3 other roomates in San Antonio, going to the singles ward. A frend of mine, who I was a little interested in, was coming over to help me move one night. We were moving to a different house. Anyway, he brought Joe a long and honestly, he kind of bugged me. He was interested in my roomate, and I don't know why, he just bugged me. So, whe started going out with my roomate and I started spending more time with his friend, who later became his roomate. Anyway, I soon realized the thing that bugged me was that I was terribly in love with him, and he was after my room mate. Long story short, she left the picture, we began dating in December of 2003 and pretty much knew we were going to get married. We were sealed on May 8, 2004 forever! I love him so much. He is a great man and I can't believe I got so lucky!

9 days!

Nine days and we will be at Disneyland!!! I can't wait, I am so excited! The boys are very excited, but I think I am more excited than they are. They keep saying "We're going to Disney Channel!" I'm trying to explain the difference between Disneyland and the Disney Channel, but so far, they don' get it!
